Idila

The dance movie, IDILA, is a collaboration with Erik Bergstrand with music written and performed by Martin Öhman. IDILA is meant to take us on a collective journey through various forms of symbiosis. Everything from neutralism, competition, mutualism, predation, parasitism, commensalism. Here, we experience an idyll but are still left with a feeling of discomfort. The film had its first screening at the ScreenDance Festival in Stockholm and has been selected for the Experimental, Dance & Music Film Festival in Toronto and Los Angeles.

what if…

WHAT IF… is a short dance performance which had its premier at Vara Konserthus in Sweden. It is a collaboration with artist SUMIE. Together, we explored the imagination that we use as people to escape oneself. How far can we go before the other person becomes real and how long can one keep that escape positive before it becomes a trap.
